Pretty Pastel Anand Karaj With A Rustic Charm & Unique Kaleere!

COVID might have started it, but we think we are liking it! There are more intimate weddings happening than ever before, and there’s a certain charm that they have which is missing in most big weddings. Here is one such intimate wedding from Toronto which had a beautiful rustic vibe- whether it was the bohemian style mehendi or the vintage Anand Karaj. Amrita and Sukh’s wedding had a cute love story and a some stunning photos- check it out for yourself!

Meet Amrita and Sukh

We met through a common friend in 2018 and initially, didn’t really want to talk to each other. It was one of those where he was off to do an MBA and I just wasn’t in the headspace to date anyone. But, we figured we’ll go out on one date(only to appease the friend) and then go our separate ways. Well, the date lasted seven hours – and like they say, the rest is history!

Wedding

From The Bride:

Planning our wedding during the pandemic was such a nerve-wracking experience; I think at one point we just wanted to elope haha. The wedding had to be moved from the original date because of COVID restrictions and in the end we decided to have a much smaller wedding with 125 of our closest family and friends. Looking back now, I think it all worked out for the best, it ended up being a week of love, laughter and endless hugs with the most special people!

Vendor Reviews

Photography: I Alam Photography

The entire team of I Alam was such a pleasure to work with! We were going for a rustic/vintage vibe and Ifty really brought that to life; from the day we booked them until the very end – the process was so stress free and smooth.

Bridal Jewellery: Navkkar Jewellers

The association with Navkkar goes back about 25 years – there’s no one our family trusts more when it comes to quality and craftsmanship. I customized my wedding jewellery and went back and forth with designs – was on a different continent during this entire process and they were so patient with me the whole time. The end product was absolutely exquisite!

Trousseau Packers: Pataaree

From my Sahi Chithi, Jaago essentials, mehendi favours and trousseau packaging – Pataaree did it all! Rekha was so easy to work with and came up with so many amazing ideas that I could incorporate into my wedding.
