Harish Salve, former Solicitor General of India, tied the knot with Trina in a private ceremony in London on September 3, Sunday. The wedding ceremony was attended by several important figures including Industrialist Mukesh Ambani, his wife Nita Ambani, Sunil Mittal, Lalit Modi and others.

A London wedding

Harish Salve, 68, was the Solicitor General of India from November 1999 to November 2002, got married for the third time where he exchanged vows with his bride Trina in an intimate ceremony in London, in the presence of his close friends.

Who’s who on the guest list

Among those who attended the wedding ceremony were industrialist Mukesh Ambani, his wife Nita Ambani, Sunil Mittal, Lalit Modi and his girlfriend and model Ujjwala Raut, LN Mittal, SP Lohia, and Gopi Hinduja.

Third time’s the charm?

Salve and his first wife Meenakshi divorced after 38 years of marriage in June 2020. They have two daughters together, Sakshi and Saaniya. He then went on to marry Caroline Brossard, a London-based artist and painter in October 2020. His third wedding, to Trina, was an intimate event in London on Sunday, September 3. 

Harish Salve has been a part of several high-profile cases including the trial of Kulbhushan Jadhav, who was sentenced to death by a Pakistani military court on charges of spying. He fought this case at the International Court of Justice. Salve famously charged Re 1 to defend Kulbhushan Jadhav.

He was also appointed as the Queen’s Counsel for the courts of England and Wales in 2020. His clients include large corporations such as Reliance Industries, Tata Group, ITC Limited.
