Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.

Our planner, Liz with Burst Event Co. was the best when it came to all elements of planning. She provided us with options for all of our vendors and helped us assemble a stellar vendor team! Our day wouldn’t have been anywhere close to what it was without Liz and all of her support, encouragement, and guidance.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?I was originally planning to wear a lengha for the ceremony and change into a western wedding gown for the reception, but once I found the gown I wore, I knew it would be the only one. I was looking for something that wasn’t white for both looks, and the gold glitter of my wedding dress was the perfect complement to the cream sherwani Udayan picked out to wear. I handknit the shawls that we wore during our ceremony in colors of red since we have both decided to wear white/neutral colors for our outfits.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding? The best part of our wedding according to our guests was definitely the food! Our caterer, Chic Chef provided Indian Fusion appetizers during cocktail hour, and we did family style service for a sit-down dinner. They worked with us to customize every aspect of our event and menu and provided excellent day-of service!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind? For the two of us, the most important part of having a wedding was having the opportunity to gather together all of our loved ones to celebrate. And to eat good food in the process!

Anything else you want to tell us? We’d love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)We had an intimate mehndi on the Friday before the wedding with our wedding parties and close family. Salehin, @thebridalhenna, came to our apartment for the informal gathering and did such a great job on henna for Udayan and me, as well as smaller pieces for our family and friends.

We hope you enjoy today’s feature, darlings. Cheers to love and the endless possibilities it brings!
