Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan opens up on her wedding, deletes social media post later

Actor Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan got engaged to long-time boyfriend Nupur Shikhare in November 2022. While there are speculations about her impending wedding happening next month, Ira has denied all such rumours.
A news report claimed that the star kid is getting married to Nupur on October 3. However, Ira took a picture of the report and posted it on Instagram and wrote, “No,No… Not getting married on 3rd October! Later, you’ll know when because I’ll be so excited that it will be hard to not notice…”
However, she later deleted the social media post for reasons best known to her. She had also tagged Nupur in the post.

Ira and Nupur got engaged in November 2022 in an intimate ceremony, which was attended by her parents Aamir and Reena along with other close-knit family members and friends. The family had thrown a party where Aamir was seen enjoying his daughter’s special day. In one of the videos, which surfaced online, Aamir was seen singing his famous song “Papa Kehte Hai”.
Nupur, who is a celebrity fitness trainer, had proposed to Ira in Italy after dating for some time. Ira had shared pictures from her engagement and wrote in the caption, “I have never felt entirely pretty. But I did that day. I felt like a princess. I felt like I could be photographed from any angle with whatever expression and I still looked pretty.”

Ira’s engagement was also attended by actor and cousin Imran Khan, who made a public appearance after a long time. The Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na actor, however, has become very active on social media of late, fueling rumours of his comeback to Bollywood. Aamir’s second ex-wife Kiran Rao and their son Azad had also attended the engagement party.
