Sai Pallavi quashes wedding rumours with Rajkumar Periyasamy, calls out ‘disgusting intentions’

A photograph of actor Sai Pallavi with director Rajkumar Periyasamy has been doing rounds on the internet. In the viral picture, the two can be seen wearing red garlands around their necks. Many fan pages claimed they secretly got married, but Pallavi on Friday took to social media to slam those spreading rumours.
Taking to her X (formerly Twitter) handle, the actor wrote, “Honestly, I don’t care for Rumours but when it involves friends who are family, I have to speak up. An image from my film’s pooja ceremony was intentionally cropped and circulated with paid bots & disgusting intentions. When I have pleasant announcements to share on my work front, it’s disheartening to have to explain for all these jobless doings. To cause discomfort like this is purely vile.”
The photo was captured during the pooja ceremony for Rajkumar and Sivakarthikeyan‘s movie, which is currently titled SK 21.

Rajkumar had previously shared a few pictures from the pooja ceremony on the occasion of Sai Pallavi’s birthday. He wrote, “Happy birthday dear @Sai_Pallavi92 You are the best and May God bless you with everything that’s best as always! I feel blessed to have you too by my side in this! Thank you for being there.”
On the work front, Sai Pallavi recently signed a film alongside Naga Chaitanya. The Telugu film is produced by Allu Aravind and directed by Chandoo Mondeti.
