Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra and politician Raghav Chadha recently tied the knot in a dreamy ceremony in Udaipur. Their wedding and pre-wedding festivities were attended by close friends and family members only. Sania Mirza, Harbhajan Singh, Bhagyashree, Punjab’s Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, MP Sanjay Singh, and Yuva Sena president Aditya Thackeray, among others, attended the wedding. However, Parineeti’s cousin and actor, Priyanka Chopra gave the wedding a miss due to her work commitments. Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra, who was present at the ceremony, recently shared an inside picture from Parineeti’s ‘choora’ ceremony.

In a now-deleted post, Madhu shared a beautiful picture of Parineeti. The bride looked stunning in her traditional yellow suit as she flaunted her ‘kaliras’. Madhu wrote in the caption, “Happy bride at her choora ceremony.”
Parineeti’s designer explained that her ‘kaliras’ were not just a pretty ornament but also a symbol of her and Raghav’s unique love story. Each element was chosen with care to represent their journey together. The ‘kaliras’ appeared delicate at first glance, but they held a deeper meaning.
Designer Mrinalini Chandra wrote, “At first glance, the Kalira appears to be dainty ornaments cascading from the bangle. However, its true beauty lies in the underlying story it conveys—a tale of love.”
Parineeti and Raghav announced their wedding via social media and shared beautiful pictures from the ceremony. They wrote, “From the very first chat at the breakfast table, our hearts knew. Been waiting for this day for a long time .. So blessed to finally be Mr and Mrs! Couldn’t have lived without each other .. Our forever begins now.”
