Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Khan and her long-time friend and designer, Masaba Gupta, have collaborated for the launch of ‘The Masaba Bride’. The collection is an ode to the Indian bride and the splendid festivities of an Indian wedding.
A preview of the collection has been shared on Instagram, and with an interesting use of red and gold and a muse like Kareena, the outfits are bound to grab the attention of every bride-to-be out there!

The campaign video is a pure delight as you witness Kareena being her raw self, fully immersing herself in the beautiful outfits and the joy of wedding festivities. “Introducing our very first Masaba Bride, Kareena Kapoor Khan – a celebration of strength, independence, and individuality. Very rarely do you come across a face that is haunting, beautiful, memorable and makes you want to be as you are,” says the caption along with the video.
Masaba has dedicated the collection to the modern woman, “who wears her true self with pride, embracing every facet of her personality.”

A breakdown of the bridal outfits in Masaba Gupta’s latest collection
Each outfit carries “a distinct emotion.” “Showcasing a range of ensembles for all ceremonies of the wedding festivities, each piece from this collection narrates a unique story and carries a distinct emotion,” Masaba wrote, describing her collection.

The first look on Kareena appears to be a red pant-saree bearing distinct gold details. The salwar-style pant has a distinctly wide border lending the ensemble an exquisite look. It’s the veil, however, that steals the show. Using the same colour scheme, Masaba created an orangish-red lehenga of our dreams with a blouse boasting a plunging neckline.
The yellow and orange lehenga with birds and blooms embossed on it is equally breathtaking!
The collection also features a white cape ensemble styled with pearl head jewellery, a black and gold dazzling jacket, and a draped skirt set that we’d love to see more of.
