Exclusive – Bigg Boss 16 fame Sreejita De opens up about her Indian wedding; says ‘It will happen in February’

Sreejita De, who tied the knot with beauMichael Blohm-Papein July in his home country, Germany is now looking forward to her Indian wedding.The actress had a church wedding with Michael and the couple looked dreamy on their D-day. Sreejita and Michael were earlier expected to have a Bengali wedding in November this year. However, it has now got pushed to next year.Recently, while chatting with ETimes TV, Sreejita opened up about her Indian wedding and if she has started preparation for the same.Speaking about the Bengali wedding getting postponed, Sreejita shared, “I was in talks for a show and for that I was committed till almost February next year. Hence, we had to postpone the Indian wedding as it was not possible to get married in November.”Sreejita and Michael now plan to have their most awaited Bengali wedding early next year, she says, “We are planning to do it early next year. We plan to get married by February end as the climate is good till then in Goa otherwise it gets too hot after that.”

The actress has been busy with her work commitments and hasn’t got time for any preparations. Talking about the same, she said, “Honestly, we haven’t started preparations now as I’m busy with work commitments. Michael and I were discussing the same a couple days ago. Mera bahut shauk hai to get married in Bengali style so I would definitely do it.”However, husband Michael and she soon plan to finalise a location in Goa for the wedding, “The main thing we are currently looking at is booking a place, the location where the wedding will take place and where the guests will stay. I have this wish in my mind to get married near the beach or have a beach wedding and an open air wedding. The main is location once we lock it then my mom will finalise all the sarees because she is the expert. We want everyone to be colour coordinated and mom knows where we get the best sarees in Kolkata.”

She further opened up about her guest list, “I don’t have a huge list. It is going to be an intimate wedding with only close people. I have around 10-12 special people from Mumbai who will attend the functions. And family members from Kolkata will attend. It will be like our German wedding,” she concluded.
