Many people like to design their wedding invitation cards in unique ways to make it stand out. A photo of a wedding invitation card from Bangladesh is going viral on X for the way it incorporated the details in the form of a scholar’s research paper.
The title of the cards reads “Wedding invitation of Sanjana and Imon at PSC Convention Hall, Mirpur 13, Dhaka”. The names of the couple, Sanjana Tabassum Sneha and Mahjib Hossain Imon, are prominently displayed below, similar to authors in a research paper. Then an abstract paragraph is written explaining the concept of marriage in Islam and what it means to the couple.
Then an introduction, location, methodology and conclusion along with a reference column is written in the card. The wedding took place on October 14, this year. “Still can’t believe that this is a wedding invitation card,” wrote the man who posted the photo on his X account (@rayyanparhlo).
The methodology column reads, “The wedding event will take place in the evening. In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent and Merciful, we request the honour of your presence at the wedding ceremony.”
In conclusion, it said, “With new dreams, new hopes to achieve new horizons, and trusting someone without magic carpet ride, we are stepping into a new beginning of married life. Thank you for your encouragement, support, love and du’a. Your presence at the ceremony will be appreciated.”
The card also referenced specific surahs from the Quran, adding a layer of religious and cultural depth to the invitation.
