When Ranveer Singh attends a wedding, it is given that the actor will steal the show with his energy and dance moves, and Tamil director Shankar’s daughter Aishwarya Shankar’s wedding, was no exception. The videos from Aishwarya’s Chennai wedding, which was attended by Ranveer, have been grabbing eyeballs on social media as they show the Gully Boy actor shaking a leg alongside director Atlee. One of the clips showcases their energetic dance move while grooving to Thalapathy Vijay and Trisha’s peppy number “Appadi Podu” as they join the bride and groom on stage. Shankar is known for helming films like Sivaji: The Boss, Indian, 2.0 etc. His fan page shared a bunch of dance videos featuring the actor, alongside the Jawan director and the newlyweds.

Ranveer, who is all set to welcome his first child with wife and actor Deepika Padukone, donned a black embellished sherwani for the occasion. Several other videos show Ranveer and Atlee dancing to “Vaathi Coming” and Shah Rukh Khan’s “Lungi Dance.” The actor didn’t stop there. He also showed his dance moves while dancing to the song, “Tattad Tattad” from Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela. The duo’s energy was palpable in the videos. Ranveer can be seen teaching dance steps to everyone present on the stage. In another video, the actor, who was sweating profusely and had taken his sherwani off, only wearing a black kurta, was spotted performing the signature steps of “Tattad Tattad” alongside a little girl, at the wedding. Aishwarya, the eldest daughter of Shankar, tied the knot with Tarun Karthikeyan on Sunday. This is Aishwarya’s second wedding following her separation from cricketer Damodaran Rohit.
Ranveer recently walked the ramp alongside Kriti Sanon on the banks of the Ganges River in Varanasi. The fashion show, hosted by celebrity designer Manish Malhotra, took place at Namo Ghat in the city.

While Kriti wore a red Banarasi silk lehenga, Ranveer dazzled in a golden silk kurta paired with a black dhoti and a matching shawl. “Backstage, I was talking to the other models, and we’ve all done our share of fashion shows, but this is something truly special. Walking on the banks of the Ganges felt a million times better than any Mumbai five-star venue,” he told ANI.
