Meet Indian-origin tech billionaire Ankur Jain who married former WWE wrestler Erika Hammond in a lavish wedding in Egypt

Just weeks after Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant‘s grand pre-wedding celebration in Jamnagar (Gujarat), another billionaire, Ankur Jain, has grabbed everyone’s attention for his lavish wedding with former WWE wrestler Erika Hammond, which was held in front of the Great Pyramids in Egypt. The couple had a lavish pre-wedding celebration as well, which began with a three-day safari experience in South Africa, followed by a grand dinner party. According to The Sun, the pre-wedding celebrations reportedly cost the couple around $2,000 (approximately Rs 1.6 lakh) per night. Post the three-day extravaganza in South Africa, the couple flew to Egypt on a private plane along with all their guests.

During an interaction with People, the Indian-origin tech billionaire revealed that he had proposed to Hammond to get married in space, but she turned down the idea, after which they decided to tie the knot in Egypt. “We’re New Yorkers and there’s something so special about being in a completely different world environment. So we decided, our wedding is about having a moment together to celebrate the new beginning, having a really special party with our friends somewhere where you’re in a different world,” Ankur Jain, who is obsessed with ancient history, told People.
