Naomi Campbell just attended this Indian-origin billionaire’s wedding in a Manish Malhotra sari-gown

Naomi Campbell was recently spotted in a Manish Malhotra outfit while attending an Indian-origin wedding in the South of France. The supermodel wore a lavender-coloured chiffon sari-inspired dress. The gown featured a corseted bustier and a sheer pallu draped like a cape over the supermodel’s shoulders hemmed with marabou feathers. The outfit borrowed elements from the Indian sari and was constructed keeping a contemporary silhouette in mind. Pairing her look with a diamond maang tika and long diamond drop earrings, Campbell looked stunning as she mingled with guests at the wedding.

The supermodel is friends with PrettyLittleThing founder, and billionaire, Umar Kamani who married model Nada Adelle in a four-day celebration at the Hôtel Du Cap-Eden-Roc in the South of France. The groom, Umar Kamani has multi-cultural roots, tracing back to India and Kenya. Kamani’s grandfather migrated from the Indian state of Gujarat to Kenya and thereafter moved to England in the 60s. Adelle on the other hand has British ancestry and is based in Dubai.

The wedding which took place in the Cote d’Azur, spanned four days and featured an extensive list of high-profile wedding guests and performers including Mariah Carey and Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, the musician who famously performed at two Kardashian weddings—Kim and Kourtney’s.

The couple had two wedding ceremonies, the first one in a Western-style ceremony with the bride wearing a custom couture bridal gown by the House of Dior, and the second one in an Indian ceremony that involved dhol players and Bollywood dancers. The couple wore pristine white Indianwear for the ceremony, the bride in an intricately embroidered lehenga and the groom in a sherwani and turban complementing the bride’s outfit designed by Manish Malhotra, while they took their vows under a floral arrangement of white roses.
