Isha Ambani made a regal appearance in a lehenga choli for an event during her brother Anant Ambani’s pre-wedding rituals earlier this week. However, it is Isha’s magnificent hairstyle that has absolutely impressed fashion enthusiasts. Celebrity stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania shared Isha’s pictures in a post on Instagram.
The Anuradha Vakil ensemble that Isha wore consisted of a golden blouse, a teal blue lehenga and a dupatta. All aspects of her outfit featured intricate gold embroidery as she completed her look with stunning jhumkas, an emerald neckpiece, a kamarbandh and gold bangles.

It was her traditional hairstyle, though that was the highlight of her look as she added an elegant South Indian touch to it. Isha’s hair was braided – in a style generally observed in South India – with an extension, also known as ‘savuri’ in Tamil. The bun was adorned with mogra flowers while the jadai or the braid was decorated with a gold accessory featuring diamonds and gemstones.
Her golden jadai also featured a kunjalam with three tiny baubles, which is a traditional hair accessory in South India.
In one word, Isha’s hairstyle was nothing but absolutely royal.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding rituals commenced with a puja ceremony at the Ambanis’ Mumbai residence, Antilia, on June 29. Their ‘mameru’ ceremony – an event that signifies the blessings and well-wishes bestowed upon the couple by the groom’s maternal family – was held on July 3.
This was followed by sangeet on July 5 and haldi three days later, which was attended by celebrities including Salman Khan, Ananya Panday and Sara Ali Khan.
Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani will get married on July 12 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. Spanning over three days, their wedding features three events – ‘Shubh Vivaah’ followed by ‘Shubh Aashirwad’ on July 13 and ‘Mangal Utsav’ or the wedding reception on July 14.
