Sister Of The Bride Style: Meet Ananya Bhandare!

Remember Ananya and Jahan’s beautiful home wedding? Ananya’s style was impeccable on her own big day, and when we recently saw her embodying the ‘sister of the bride’ role, she brought the same grace and flair. We loved how she wore her own reception outfit to her sister’s wedding- who doesn’t love a sustainable queen? Dressed in exquisite Tarun Tahiliani ensembles, she captivated us with each look. Over to Ananya as she breaks down each look and tells us how she styled it!

All of our outfits were designed by my father in law, Tarun Tahiliani, which made them extra special. I know I’m going to get a lot of wear out of each of these pieces, and I can’t wait to re wear them!

Mehendi: Mint green sharara

This might just be my favorite outfit and if I had to celebrate my wedding again, I’d wear this with a veil! I loved the French lace detailing that adds a feminine touch and the details in the embroidery are beautiful. The silhouette is so flattering, specially the flared pants, and the train at the back was the cherry on top.

Wedding: Bloom Lehenga

For the wedding, I re-wore the bloom lehenga and jewellery that I wore to my own reception with a new blouse and draping to add some fun new elements. I love how light it is and I was able to dance all night in it! It was important to me to be comfortable and stay true to my own understated style.

Reception : White concept saree

The thing that drew me to this white concept saree was the stunning neckline which really stood out to me. I also love the mother of pearl detailing that flows throughout the outfit, it feels very special and one of a kind. I paired it with jewellery and a watch borrowed from my mother and sister and a fresh flower in my hair. The Hollywood waves added a classic touch to the contemporary ensemble.

So, which look is your favourite?
