US Vice-President-elect JD Vance’s picture with wife’s Indian family goes viral, Internet loves it

A photo of US Vice President-elect JD Vance with his wife Usha Vance’s Indian family has taken social media by storm. The picture was shared by Silicon Valley venture capitalist Asha Jadeja Motwani in a post on X, formerly Twitter.

It shows Vance in a casual blue t-shirt and jeans, carrying his son on his shoulders. Usha, dressed in a yellowish-brown outfit, is seen holding their daughter. The picture had other family members enjoying themselves in the backyard of a home.

As the post went viral, it received an outpouring of admiration from social media users, who appreciated him for his sweet and loving family. Many also commended the Republican leader for embracing his wife’s Indian heritage. “JD got a sense of real family,” a user wrote, while another said, “From the pictures, it seems like a classic Indian family gathering!”

Recently, Vance spoke fondly about Indian vegetarian cuisine on Joe Rogan’s podcast and credited his wife for influencing his dietary habits.

Usha Vance, now a corporate lawyer, met JD Vance at Yale University in 2014. The couple got married in the same year and are parents to three children.
