Actor Keerthy Suresh and businessman Anthony Thattil tied the knot on December 12, 2024, in a heart-warming traditional ceremony in Goa. The wedding, a celebration of love and cultural heritage, was steeped in South Indian traditions and brought to life with exquisite artistry and heart-felt details.

Keerthy was a vision of ethereal beauty in a bespoke handloom Kanjeevaram sari designed by celebrated designer Anita Dongre. Crafted over 405 meticulous hours, the sari was inspired by the Korvai technique technique. The varai oosi sari, a blend of mustard yellow and green hues, had intricate gold zari geometric checks and nature motifs. The “korvai” weave added an elegant purple border, and the pièce de résistance was a moving poem by Keerthy herself, delicately woven into the fabric—a true labour of love.

Her ensemble was styled to perfection – a matching green blouse embroidered with tonal motifs to complement the sari’s intricate details. The bridal jewellery, crafted by Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers, included gold jhumka earrings, bangles, necklaces, and a stunning armlet. Her hair was adorned with traditional andal kodai, nethi chutti, suryapirai, chandrapirai headpieces, and the jadanagam, completed with fragrant mogra flowers.

Hair artist Teji Singh and makeup artist Anigha Jain kept her look simple yet radiant, focusing on kohl-lined eyes and a natural glow. Styled by Shruthi Manjari and team, Keerthy epitomised grace and tradition.

Thattil matched Keerthy’s regal vibe in a custom-designed handwoven silk kurta paired with a korvai dhoti and a Kanjeevaram stole, all crafted by Dongre. His attire took 105 hours to create, and reflected the same meticulous craftsmanship as Keerthy’s sari.

The ceremony, beautifully documented by Stories by Joseph Radhik, captured candid moments of the couple, and included their adorable pet dog Nyke, who joined the festivities dressed in traditional attire. The inclusion of their beloved pet was also given prominence in their wedding hashtag #ForTheLoveOfNyke, which Keerthy shared on Instagram.

Keerthy later draped a maroon saree adorned with silver zari threadwork, paired with a matching maroon blouse, contemporary diamond, and ruby jewellery.

We wish the couple a lifetime of happiness and cherish the joy they’ve shared with the world through their memorable celebration.
