We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again- Sustainability is what will trend the hardest for weddings this year. When a couple takes the extra step to make sure their wedding minimises wastage while being aesthetic, then how can we not get inspired? Sameera and Chaitanya had their intimate and sustainable wedding at a 300-year old property in Goa, and what we loved about it was the ease of the ceremony- from their self-designed outfits to their festive yet minimal ceremonies, this is one wedding which is ripe for inspiration if minimalistic is more your style!
Meet Sameera & Chaitanya
“We met in highschool, he was the head of sports and I played football and basketball. 13 years of being together across cities, countries and continents he proposed in Africa at the Giraffe Manor”, the bride tells us.

About The Wedding
We wanted to have a intimate, sustainable wedding in our hometown Goa. We picked a 300 year old property on top of a hill in Aldona, Goa. We kept it simple, no wastage, no plastic, home-made wedding favours. We designed our outfits ourselves with names of my parents on my dupatta. We had groomsmen and bridesmaids colour in our rustic, vintage theme. The bride’s veil was 3 meter long. We did use the WedMeGood App to find venues & vendors in Goa.
