5 Micro-bridal trends from Avantika Chhabria’s wedding
Pastel-coordinated bridesmaid outfits
Bridesmaid squads are a bride’s ride or die, and one just can’t compromise on the details involving the bride’s besties- Avantika got the memo loud and clear! “Bridesmaid coordination took a dreamy turn with custom pastel outfits! Since my bridesmaids played a big role in my bridal entry, I wanted their looks to complement the overall aesthetic. I teamed up with Nayonica from Label Naibah to create unique ensembles that suited each bridesmaid while maintaining a cohesive pastel palette,” added the bride.
A custom-designed couture veil
Customisation is the key to ace bridal couture off late, and if that detail is on your bridal veil, it just adds magic to your D-day. “My customised veil was one of the most special elements of my bridal look. I fell in love with a couture Tarun Tahiliani veil and worked on personalising it to match my vision. It was the perfect finishing touch, adding elegance and sentimentality to my outfit.”
A recreated version of ‘Tere Bin’ for our special day
That walk down the aisle or that first dance, it can all be special with just the right tune, Avantika and Divyam chose to revamp the classics. “‘Tere Bin’ by Rabbi Shergill has been a song close to our hearts—Divyamm always says it reminds him of me. To make our wedding even more personal, we reimagined the song with female vocals and customised lyrics, making it a truly unforgettable moment.”
Statement hair and makeup moments
Wedding wardrobes sure are the centre of attention, but the choice of hair and makeup can elevate the look altogether, and Avantika Chhabria made sure to make the most of it. “For my welcome dinner, Shradha Luthra created a stunning beauty look that turned heads. The highlight? A pearl-studded eye makeup look paired with a floor-length satin bow added an effortlessly chic touch to my Self-Portrait outfit. For my Mehendi, we moved away from traditional plaits and opted for a pastel-thread parandi that perfectly complemented my pastel Abhinav Mishra outfit—an unexpected yet stunning detail!”
Minimal mehendi with a personalised twist
Maximalism in couture might never go out of style, but as for mehendi trends that’s not the case anymore. “I love the beauty of Mehendi but prefer a more minimal approach. Bridal Mehendi Queen designed an intricate yet subtle look that beautifully incorporated elements of Jaipur, blending tradition with a modern, understated aesthetic,” says Avantika.
