Business tycoon Gautam Adani’s youngest son Jeet Adani is all set to marry this February 7. Here’s everything you need to know about him and his fiancee Diva Jaimin Shah ahead of their intimate wedding.
The wedding festivities of one of the richest people in India and Adani Group Chairperson, Gautam Adani’s son Jeet Adani began on February 5, as per reports. Jeet is Gautam Adani and his wife Dr Priti Adani’s younger son, and he is all set to get married to Diva Shah, who is the daughter ofdiamond trader Jaimin Shah.
While Jeet Adani and Diva Shah have been engaged for quite sometime now, their wedding became the talk of the town when Gautam Adani confirmed their wedding date while on a visit to Mahakumbh 2025. Talking about Jeet and Diva’s wedding, Adani had confirmed that it would be held on February 7, 2025, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
When asked if it would be a big-fat-Indian wedding, Adani had told media persons there, “We are like common people… His marriage will happen in a very simple and traditional way.” Putting to rest rumours about it being a celeb-studded wedding, Adani had further said, “Not at all. It will be a very simple, traditional, and a family affair.”
While the total number of guests or the guest list hasn’t been revealed, it is speculated that it will be an intimate wedding ceremony which will be attended by their close friends, family, and a few high-profile people from their fraternity.
Jeet Adani-Diva Shah’s wedding with a cause
While Jeet and Diva’s wedding would be a family affair, reports suggest that it is a celebration of the causes which are close to the couple’s hearts. For instance, Jeet Adani- who is known to support specially-abled people– has got ace designer Manish Malhotra to collaborate with the NGO Family of Disabled (FOD) to design custom-made shawls for the couple, as per ANI. The NGO is also creating hand-painted wedding items like glassware, plates and other accessories.
Apart from this, Jeet and Diva’s wedding is said to celebrate artisans from across India, as they’ll be creating elements that will add a touch of culture to the festivities. For instance: Artisans from Nashik, Maharashtra, are crafting exquisite Paithani sarees for the wedding guests, while Nitaben from Mundra, Gujarat, is creating intricate mud work murals for the celebration. Adding to the vibrant festivities, traditional bangles from Bibaji Choori Wala in Jodhpur will bring a splash of colour and heritage.
