From SUVs to bulldozers: This Indian wedding redefines tradition

Dubai: Indian weddings are renowned for their grandeur and distinctive customs, with families often going the extra mile to make celebrations unforgettable. From bullock carts to helicopters, couples have found countless ways to add a unique touch to their special day. However, a family in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, recently took this tradition to a whole new level by organizing a ‘bidaai’ — the ceremonial send-off of the bride — on bulldozers.

The scene unfolded on Thursday, as reported by NDTV, the wedding of Karishma and Rahul Yadav, the youngest son of Munni Lal Yadav from Azad Nagar, initially followed the usual customs. As the bride bid farewell to her family and prepared to leave in a decorated SUV, everything seemed to be unfolding as expected. However, just as the procession was about to move, a surprising twist left guests and onlookers stunned — nearly a dozen bulldozers rumbled onto the scene, becoming an integral part of the wedding convoy.
