About The Wedding
Our wedding took place on April 4, 2024. I always dreamt of a palace or fort wedding and what could better than doing your wedding at Raajsa Resort, Rajasthan. It was a beautiful property and definitely made my wedding look so royal.
And for the outfits my vision was inclined towards wearing different colours for each event and not just sticking to pastel colours which most of brides do nowadays and I also chose to wear lehengas for each event because I feel no other style (let it be Indo western, Sharara Anarkali etc..) can beat the way a bride looks in lehengas so I chose to wear lehengas for all my events.
For my husband he chose to experiment with his looks and opted for unique style during the haldi and carnival event . He wore a kurta set along with Bomber jacket which not many grooms opt for these days. For the other events he chose to remain classic by wearing kurta, Indo -western and sherwani.
Lastly, I also just want to mention about my solo performance. I opted to do an LED interactive dance on song Laadki (dedicated to my parents) which turned out so well and everyone loved watching it . And also opted for not so usual songs during my solo and couple performance like – Crazy kiya re, Teri ore, Dil dooba, Ab toh forever!
The Decor at our wedding was simple yet exquisite, just like I wanted . The colour scheme chosen for decor was pastel and for carnival event elements of funkiness was also added. During this event we also had fun game stalls. And during the Varmala the backdrop and all the SFX and fireworks done was just perfect. The Varmala was by far the best highlight of our wedding. It was just so beautiful.
Advice for Brides-to-be
One advice I would like to share with brides especially is to definitely take a free or paid makeup trial with any artist before booking them and to thoroughly discuss your looks, accessories with them before your big day . You don’t want to be disappointed on your big day!!
Also, don’t bother too much on starting events on time and give some time to your photographers to peacefully take your portraits. I regret not doing so haha!
