The Shark Tank India 4 season finale focussed on the entrepreneurial journeys of people with disabilities. In the episode, entrepreneur and industrialist Jeet Adani kept his promise, made eight weeks ago, to appear as a guest mentor.
When the newest judge, Srikanth Bolla, asked him about his newly married life, he said, “Unbelievable. Small but amazing difference,” said Adani, who got married to Diva Jaimin Shah in an intimate and traditional ceremony in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad on February 7, 2025.
During the interaction, he also pointed out that Shark and Shaadi.com CEO Anupam Mittal removed his profile from the matrimonial site. “He tweeted saying he removed my profile,” shared Adani, 27 (laughed)!
On Mittal’s question about millennials and GenZ not being interested in marriage and whether he recommends it, Adani exclaimed, “Oh, 100 percent.”
The Sharks also hailed the Adani family’s philanthropy efforts of about Rs 10,000 crore during the wedding ceremony. On how the thought came about, Jeet said, “We were always debating how the wedding is a big-time celebration in the Indian Gujarati culture. We thought about what different we could do! So, we chose certain causes which were close to our hearts. One of the biggest was how to support persons with disabilities. At the start of the wedding, we launched Mangal Seva where we supported many women with disabilities who recently got married or were about to get married to make them financially self-reliant for the next 10 years,” mentioned Adani.
Dr Sonal Anand, psychiatrist at Wockhardt Hospitals Mira Road, concurred that life-altering decisions like marriage do significantly impact people’s lives, and the added sense of responsibility towards each other makes people more accountable.
“A supportive environment courtesy of your partner can be mentally and emotionally relaxing, where you can share your fears and thoughts without secondary thoughts,” said Dr Anand.

Proper communication and the partners’ ability to express feelings clearly go a long way toward preventing misunderstandings, so it is always a ‘We’ rather than an ‘I’.

At the same time, prioritising self-care and setting boundaries are important for emotional well-being.
“Understand that marriage is not about losing oneself but growing together, staying happy, and enjoying life together. When couples encourage each other’s well-being, they can stay happy and healthy,” shared Dr Anand.

Adaptability, mutual understanding, and the willingness to put effort into the relationship are ways to have a blissful life post-marriage. “The goal should be to grow together as conflicts and stress are always going to be part and parcel of life,” said Dr Anand.
