Congratulations are in order for Never Have I Ever star Anirudh Pisharody who got married to his college sweetheart, film producer Jill V. Dae in a dreamy wedding. The couple embarked on the journey of love and togetherness in nothing less than a fairy tale wedding at Castello Odescalchi di Bracciano, Italy. Anirudh, who is an Indian-American actor, and Jill, a director who hails from Hong Kong, had a dual wedding, wherein their respective cultures played a crucial role in their union. As per Vogue, their wedding festivities began with a harmonious mix of Chinese tea ceremony, Indian kalyanam, and Western traditions. It was all rounded off with an after-party with friends and families. The American magazine just dropped a series of inside pictures from their wedding festivities and while taking it all in, it seems, we were literally transported to a fairyland. For their big day, Anirudh and Jill, rested their faith in the hands of Indian fashion designer Seema Gujral, American designer Vera Wang and French fashion house Dior.

For their Western tradition wedding, Anirudh looked stunning in a classic black suit and Jill V Dae looked breathtaking in a white bridal trousseau. Anirudh Pisharody looked as handsome as ever in his crisp bow-tie pant-suit on the white formal shirt. He topped it all with a white pocket square and black gleaming formal shoes. Jill looked ethereal in a pristine white gown with an embroidered lace-laden bodice featuring a plunging V-neckline held together by slinky noodle strings. Her floor-sweeping veil formed a vision of a trail for her ensemble. She kept it minimal by styling it all with a delicate-looking bracelet, chain and her engagement ring.

Anirudh Pisharody and Jill V Dae’s Indian Kalyanam was gorgeously ethnic. The bride wore ivory-hued six yards with a broad gold border. The saree featured an overall muted beige print that matched her blouse with short sleeves. With bold make-up and a middle-parted low bun, wrapped with gajra, she sealed her look. Jill carried the traditional pieces of jewellery with grace and poise. Anirudh complemented his better half in a matching Ivory-hued sherwani-style kurta that he paired with a traditional kasavu mundu with gold borders.
For the Chinese tea ceremony, Anirudh Pisharody was seen dressed in bright red-hued Chang Pao Ma Gua, adorned with yellow and gold floral embroidery. For the unversed, Chang Pao is a long robe worn as the inner layer while the Ma Gua refers to the outer jacket.
