And the award for the most secretive wedding goes to Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth. Just like their secret engagement, the couple tied the knot on Monday in the presence of their family and close friends. Nobody had a clue about the ceremony, until the couple shared their photos from the event through a joint Instagram post. Apart from the photos shared by the couple, several other images of the bride and groom have surfaced online flaunting their wedding rings, among other details.

For her D-day, Aditi Rao Hydari wore a golden organza traditional half-saree by Sabyasachi, which she paired with matching striped blouse which with a hand-embroidered border. She completed her look with traditional gold jewellery and a gajra. Instead of mehendi, the actress opted for traditional red alta–hand painted half moons were visible on her feet and back of her hand. Unlike other brides, Aditi also ditched nail paint, keeping her look extremely natural and regal.

Meanwhile, Siddharth wore a simple kurta paired with veshti. In another picture, the couple also flaunted their wedding rings. While Siddharth wore a plain gold band. Aditi flaunted her double diamond ring, which features a round cut diamond with a pear cut diamond that sits perfectly on a gold band. However, the actors had shared the picture of themselves with their respective rings at the time of their engagement announcement.

The Heeramandi actress and Siddharth had a traditional south Indian wedding which took place at a 400-year-old Sri Ranganayakaswamy Temple, located at Srirangapur in Wanaparthy District, Telangana. It was built during the 18th century A.D. and  holds significance for Aditi’s family.

The actress’ maternal grandfather was the last ruler of Wanaparthy Sansthanam, according to Money Control, and her family has long been connected to the temple, continuing to pray their regularly. Earlier, in an interview with Vogue India, Adita said, “The wedding will be centered around a 400-year-old temple in Wanaparthy that is of significance to my family.”

Their wedding came as a surprise as the couple was recently touring the US and was present at the Apple event. Sharing their wedding photos, the couple captioned: “You are my Sun, my Moon, and all my Stars… To being Pixie Soulmates for eternity…to laughter, to never growing up… To Eternal Love, Light & Magic. Mrs & Mr Adu-Siddhu.” Celebs including Dulquer Salmaan, Nani, Karan Johar, Rashii Khanna, Ananya Panday, Genelia D’Souza, Athiya Shetty, Sonakshi Sinha, Sobhita Dhulipala, Bhumi Pednekar, and R Madhavan congratulated the couple.
