There is something so ethereal about this wedding, that seeing the photos almost makes you want to be there! Maansi and Karan had a gorgeous farmhouse wedding in Karjat, but what truly made it special was the amount of thought and love that went into it. They literally converted the venue into a pastel paradise, and everything about the wedding, while being minimalistic, was truly whimsical! From the dreamy decor to the bride’s elegant and subtle bridal look, this wedding is one that you have to see to believe!

About The Wedding

Our wedding took place on November 22, 2024. It was a celebration of understated elegance—minimalistic, pastel-hued and nothing short of a dreamy, fairytale-like experience. The vision was to create an atmosphere that felt intimate (our guest-list was small just as we wanted, only our near and dear), serene, and effortlessly beautiful, where every detail was thoughtfully curated to reflect our personal style. At the heart of the venue stood a majestic tree, its branches adorned almost entirely with delicate pastel flowers, serving as a breathtaking centerpiece and a symbol of timeless beauty. The soft colour palette extended across every element—from the floral arrangements to the attire of our guests—creating a harmonious blend of light, airy tones that felt soothing and ethereal.
To add warmth and texture, we incorporated natural elements like rattan furniture, which perfectly complemented the pastel décor and lent a rustic yet refined charm to the space. Every corner of the venue was designed to evoke a sense of calm sophistication, where minimalism met thoughtful detailing.

Here are a few of the many things that made our wedding special:

  • A Thoughtful Petal Bar: One of the most meaningful parts of our wedding was the petal bar, where guests filled cones with petals to shower us during the ceremony. We added a personal touch by featuring a photo of Karan’s late father, honoring his memory and symbolically receiving his blessings on our special day
  • A Female Priest: I chose a female priest, as I felt she would resonate with my desire to remove certain rituals that felt outdated. This brought a unique and modern perspective to the ceremony.
  • Minimalism and Sophistication: While often spoken about, these values truly defined our wedding. From the décor to the styling, we kept everything clean, understated, and elegant.
  • A Pastel Paradise: Our guests embraced the theme by wearing subtle, light hues, creating a serene, dreamy atmosphere that felt just right.

We also added a few other fun and interactive elements that made the experience more memorable for our guests:

  • Coppetto Ice Cream Bar: A sweet treat station serving artisanal gelato that everyone loved.
  • Polaroid Station: Guests could capture candid moments and instantly print photos to take home as keepsakes or leave for us with little notes.
  • Fruit Bar: A refreshing addition that perfectly complemented the dreamy, pastel theme of the wedding.

Wedding Planning & Decor: The Wedding Designers★ 5

When choosing wedding planners, it was important to us that they would also handle the décor. We knew we’d be working closely with them on a daily basis, so we wanted a team that could truly understand us as a couple—our personalities, our vibe, and our vision for the wedding. Having one seamless point of contact was a top priority, and The Wedding Designers we just that. They were not only meticulous in their planning but also deeply aligned with our aesthetic, executing the décor perfectly and bringing our dream to life.

Photography: The White Box★ 5

I must have shared at least 500 references for The White Box to sift through. Before that, I spent months searching for the perfect photography team that aligned with my vision and aesthetic. I wanted simplicity paired with technical expertise, extreme candids with just the right amount of guidance for Karan and me, especially since posing doesn’t come naturally to us. My pictures had to be perfect, and I’m incredibly emotional, which they completely understood. They made us feel so at ease, capturing our moments beautifully and making the entire experience comfortable—even for the videos. Also we ensured that we spent a little time with them, hung out, took a few pre wedding pictures etc, about 2 months before the wedding functions actually started. It was super important to us that they get to know Karan and me and our story.
