Are you still gushing over Parjakta Koli and Vrishank Khanal’s wedding pictures? It’s time to move on, but not quite from the ceremony. You just need to shift the focus from Anita Dongre’s outfits and picturesque backdrops to drool-worthy plates and friends and family indulging in desi Indian food.
From Mithila Palkar to Saransh Goila, everybody is sharing best wishes for the newlyweds along with long notes about how much they enjoyed the food at the wedding. Pastry Chef Pooja Dhingra baked the most delicious strawberry cream cake, and the rest of the menu is an ode to Indian delicacies.
Since Prajakta Koli is an actor, author, and YouTube, one would think that her wedding menu would have featured international delicacies, but an image shared by Saransh Goila screams desi wedding culminated with desi food. Scroll down to see everything that guests relished at the ceremony.
Barf Ka Gola
Both Mithila Palkar and Saransh Goila have shared images of indulging in barf ka gola. It is an Indian street dessert in which shaved ice is shaped into a cylinder, topped with sugary flavoured syrup, and served on a bed of some extra ice shavings. It offers respite from the heat, and it is always fun to see how it leaves your lips and tongue coloured.

Jowar Khichdi
In one of the images shared by Chef Saransh, you can see jowar khichdi in all its glory, boasting a yellow hue, freshness from coriander leaves, and melted butter on top. It is also among the healthiest picks amid deep-fried and sugary delicacies often prepared during wedding rituals. Would you consider adding this one-pot meal to your wedding menu?

Mutton Poori
Mutton poori is a Nawabi dish served at Parjakta Koli and Vrishank Khanal’s wedding. It was accompanied by musallam, rice, naan, chicken and mutton curries, and whatnot. This image of a cluttered plate, which is a common sight at Indian weddings, was shared by Saransh Goila. He mentioned that food is the primary reason why guests attend weddings; the Slurrp team cannot disagree with the chef’s observation.

Egg Curry
Egg curry is not a sought-after dish at Indian weddings, despite it being lip-smacking and nutritious. The image below shows red irresistible gravy topped with boiled and spiced eggs. Its gravy looks creamy and well-balanced, not to mention chicken leg pieces elevating the preparation and making it hard for foodies not to drool all over it.

Dosa & Parfait
In another picture, the chef showcased that he enjoyed crispy plain dosa with red and white chutneys along with strawberry-topped parfait (or was it ice cream?). Koli’s wedding menu featured North Indian, Maharashtrian, and South Indian delicacies. The images shared by celebrity guests are proof of how much they enjoyed the nuptials and feast.
