Aankh Micholi trailer out, Mrunal Thakur’s search for groom takes hilarious turn

The trailer of OMG: Oh My God! (2012) director Umesh Shukla’s upcoming film, Aankh Micholi, has been unveiled. It offered a sneak peek into a hilarious and entertaining journey around Indian weddings. It stars Mrunal Thakur and Abhimanyu Dassani in the lead roles.

A rollercoaster ride filled with drama

Aankh Micholi revolves around the antics of two mismatched families during an Indian wedding. The trailer promises that the film will be a rollercoaster ride filled with laughter, drama and emotions. It begins with Mrunal Thakur’s character Paro praying for a loving husband. She suffers from night blindness, which she humorously refers to as the inability to see when the sun sets.

Paresh Rawal’s character is introduced as Paro’s guardian. He ensures that her night blindness remains a secret and potential grooms don’t learn about it. The trailer hints at the comical chaos that unfolds when 27 grooms come asking for Paro’s hand in marriage.

Mrunal took to social media and shared the film’s trailer. “Here’s a little feast for your eyes! Brace yourself for the ultimate entertainer packed with giggles and fun, for the entire family. #AankhMicholi trailer out now! Watch closely, there’s more to it than meets the eye,” she shared.

Directed by Umesh Shukla, written by Jitendra Parmar and produced by Sony Pictures International Productions in collaboration with Umesh Shukla and Ashish Wagh’s Merry Go Round Studios, Aankh Micholi is set to hit theatres across India on October 27.

The film co-stars Sharman Joshi, Divya Dutta, Abhishek Banerjee, Darshan Jariwala, Grusha Kapoor and Vijay Raaz. The music of Aankh Micholi is composed by Sachin-Jigar.
