Billionaire CEO Ankur Jain wanted to get married in space but Erika Hammond refused; here’s why

Tech billionaire Ankur Jain took the internet by storm when he shared his luxury wedding photos after he married former World Wrestling Entertainment star Erika Hammond in Egypt.

Jain, the 34-year-old CEO of Bilt Rewards, recently opened up about his wedding preparations at the exotic location and revealed that he had wanted to tie the knot in space. “My first pitch to Erika for the wedding was to get married in space,” Jain told People magazine.

“I was like, ‘I don’t want to die on my wedding day!’” Hammond said.

Jain also shared his childhood memory of the great pyramids in Egypt. He first visited the country as a kid during an annual family vacation and went on his first archaeological dig of the ancient tombs as a teen. “I’m obsessed with ancient history and society,” he said.

Jain shared a series of photos from his wedding festivities. The festivities included a safari dinner in the heart of a South African jungle and an adventurous three-day jungle safari experience. This alone cost the couple $2,000 per night, The Sun reported.

Sharing the photos, Jain wrote, “I love you. 4/26/2024 Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us!!! And to @zahi_hawass for marrying us!! Many more photos and memories from the wedding to come. Was the most incredible few days. And thank you to all the people who made our wedding possible.”
