After Shatrughan Sinha, Sonakshi Sinha’s brother Luv Sinha has reacted to rumours about her marriage to her long-time boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal. According to reports, the Dabangg actor is likely to tie the knot with Zaheer on June 23 in Mumbai.
Speaking to ETimes, Luv, who isn’t currently in Mumbai, chose to remain tight-lipped on the matter. Responding to the speculations, the actor said he has “no comments” to make and that he has “no involvement in the matter”.
Earlier, Shatrughan Sinha, who is in Delhi, was asked about reports of Sonakshi Sinha getting married. The actor-politican shared that he has not yet spoken to anyone about his daughter’s wedding plans. He told Times Now, “Main bhi utna hi jaanta hoon jitna media mein maine padha hai (I only know what I’ve read in the news).” Shatrughan also stated that he and his wife, Poonam Sinha, are ready to bless the couple as soon as Sonakshi informs them about her wedding plans. “We wish her all happiness always,” he said.

However, Shatrughan also expressed some despair about being out of the loop regarding his daughter’s significant life decision. The actor shared that people close to him are asking why he is unaware of her wedding plans while the media seems to know more about her big day. “All I can say is, aaj kal ke bachche consent nahin lete maa-baap ke, sirf inform karte hain (Nowadays, children don’t seek permission; they simply inform their parents). We are waiting to be informed.”
On the work front, Sonakshi Sinha was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web series Heeramandi. She has director Aditya Sarpotdar’s Kakuda in the pipeline.
