Indian women’s hockey team defender Udita is set to tie the nuptial knot with men’s team forward Mandeep Singh. The duo was part of the Indian contingent for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games where the men’s outfit had claimed a historic podium finish and the women had missed out on a medal narrowly, finishing fourth. In March 2024, the now 30-year-old Mandeep was appointed a DSP in the Punjab police. He made his senior national debut in 2013 and has 120 goals from 260 international appearances to his name. As for Udita, she debuted in 2017 and has 14 goals from 127 India caps. Ahead of the wedding, the couple shared images from their pre-wedding rituals, capturing the essence of their special moments.
