Editorial Summary & Key Highlights

DrikPanchang lists nine auspicious marriage dates in April 2027, calculated for Jaipur: the 18th, 19th, 21st, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th. Nothing falls in the first seventeen days because that stretch sits inside Kharmas, which lifts when the Sun enters Aries. The 18th carries the widest window, from 6:05 AM to 9:58 PM, and is the only one that covers a full day without crossing midnight. The 24th is the narrowest at one hour and one minute. The 23rd carries two separate windows.

April 2027 has nine auspicious marriage dates in DrikPanchang's calendar, and none of them arrive before the 18th. The first seventeen days of the month are empty.

The dates

The nine are 18, 19, 21, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28 April. All of them fall inside the eleven days from the 18th to the 28th, and the last two days of the month carry nothing.

Nine dates compressed into eleven days is a harder booking problem than nine dates spread across a month.

The 18th is the widest window of the month, open from 6:05 AM to 9:58 PM under Uttara Phalguni, and it is the only one that covers a full working day without crossing midnight. Most of the others do cross it. The 19th opens at 7:44 PM and closes at 4:40 AM on the 20th. The 25th opens at 3:35 PM and runs to 5:53 AM on the 26th.

The 24th is the tightest date of the month by a distance: one hour and one minute, from 5:55 AM to 6:56 AM, under Anuradha. The 23rd is unusual in carrying two separate windows, a short afternoon one from 2:13 PM to 3:53 PM and a pre-dawn one from 4:20 AM to 5:55 AM the next morning.

Why the month starts on the 18th

The first half of April sits inside Kharmas, which began in mid-March when the Sun entered Pisces. It lifts when the Sun moves into Aries, and the calendar reopens behind it.

That makes April the mirror of March, where all seven dates fall before the 15th. Between them the two months hold sixteen dates and a five-week hole, and the hole sits exactly where most people assume spring is open.

What the shape of the month means

Nine dates compressed into eleven days is a harder booking problem than nine dates spread across a month. A venue that is free on the 21st is being asked for by every family working from the same list, and the 24th, with its one-hour window, cannot absorb overflow from anywhere else.

If the ceremony has to happen in April, the 18th is the date with the most room in it. It is also, for the same reason, the one most likely to be taken first.

Before you commit

These timings are calculated for Jaipur. A muhurat window is derived from local sunrise, so a list computed for another city will not give the same start and end times. Check the timing for the city where the ceremony happens, and confirm it with the priest conducting it.

The full year, month by month, is in our 2027 muhurat calendar.

The acoustic sitar during midnight pheras is such an inspired touch. Finally a return to soul over decibels!

Loved the breakdown of vintage zardozi craftsmanship. True luxury takes thousands of hours.
