Most Panchangs Say 21, 24, 25, 26 November. One Popular List Says Otherwise

If you are picking a wedding date this season, you have probably taken the first muhurat list you found. Most of them agree with each other. One widely read one does not.

DrikPanchang, which most Hindu calendar sites derive from, lists four auspicious dates for November 2026: the 21st, 24th, 25th and 26th. VedicFeed lists the same four.

Anytime Astro publishes a different set: 20 and 21 November, plus a window running from the afternoon of the 25th into the 26th. It includes 20 November, which neither of the other two carries as an auspicious marriage date, and leaves out the 24th, which both of them do.

Panchang calculation depends on which almanac is being followed and on the regional tradition behind it. It also depends on where the calendar is computed. DrikPanchang works its 2026 list against Jaipur, and the timings shift with longitude. VedicFeed says its own calendar is "applicable to the majority based on the standard Panchang", and sends readers to an astrologer for anything personal.

The risk is that most people check one list. That list becomes the date on the invitation, and invitations get printed months before the venue deposit stops being refundable and before anyone books a flight.

Check DrikPanchang first, since most other sites are built on it, and set your location before you read any timing. If a second list offers you a date the standard panchang does not carry, take that difference to whoever will conduct the ceremony. In most traditions the muhurat is worked out against the couple birth charts, and no published list can do that for you. What the lists give you is a shortlist to start from.
