Vegas Bets on These Dates Being 2026's Biggest for Weddings

Las Vegas, long dubbed the Wedding Capital of the World, has released its forecast for the busiest wedding dates of 2026. The picks are driven by numerology.

Drawing on years of historical filing data from the Clark County Clerk's Office, city wedding officials expect couples to fill chapels and resorts on dates that read well. November looks like the busiest month, with November 11, which also falls on Veterans Day, and Friday the 13th both expected to draw crowds of couples after an anniversary date that is hard to forget.

December is close behind. New Year's Eve, already a popular choice for couples who want to start a marriage and a year at the same time, completes the list of predicted peaks.

The clerk's own record complicates the forecast. Clark County registered 69,363 marriages in 2025, down from 75,326 in 2024 and 77,947 in 2022. The busiest month last year was not November but October, which took 7,554, with May just behind on 7,529. November managed 5,555, about 185 a day against October's 243.

The Indian version of this is not a forecast at all. DrikPanchang lists eleven auspicious marriage dates across the same late-autumn window, and those eleven carry the demand of six weeks. Las Vegas predicts where couples will gather. A panchang decides it.

Choosing a date for what it means rather than for what is convenient is a familiar pattern, and Las Vegas is unusually well set up for it. Same-week licensing and chapels that run to a schedule make a symbolic date practical in a way it rarely is elsewhere.
