Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda Tie the Knot in Udaipur Palace Wedding

Actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda married at a heritage palace property in Udaipur on February 26, 2026.

The couple kept most of their courtship out of public view. They became engaged at a private ceremony in Hyderabad in October 2025, with only close family present, and the wedding was run the same way: family and a small circle of friends, and no guest list beyond it.

A larger reception is planned in Hyderabad so the pair can celebrate with colleagues from the film industry. South Indian stars have increasingly split the two, keeping the rituals private and holding the industry event separately.

The jewellery is the part that did get documented. Shree Jewellers made eleven pieces for the bride and spent about ten months on them, working from South Indian temple architecture, and the groom's ceremonial ornaments ran in the same maximalist register rather than the restraint the rest of the day was run with.

The house called it an intimate celebration afterwards, which is close to the only first-hand account of the day anyone published.

The spending fits a pattern that holds well beyond one wedding. India held fewer weddings last season and spent ₹60,000 crore more on them, and jewellery takes the single largest share of that money at 15%.

Heritage properties in Rajasthan sit at the centre of a market forecast to six-times by 2034, and a palace booking of this kind is what that forecast is built on.

Udaipur has been the setting for a run of large Indian weddings this season. No official photographs from the ceremony had been released at the time of writing.
